Muddy River Tavern - Exceptional Steaks, Pizzas & Vibrant Atmosphere in Yadkinville, NC

The food, atmosphere, and service were great! The filet was one of the best I’ve had. We ordered it plain, without the peppercorn sauce. Just steak, salt and pepper. It was perfect and worth every dime. It melted in my mouth. The Backyard Beet Salad was also fabulous. I added grilled chicken and they honored my request to blacken it as well. The house made balsamic vinaigrette and ranch were fantastic. We got there at 4 on a Saturday. No wait. But I wouldn’t have minded waiting on this perfection. So thankful we don’t have to drive to Winston anymore when we want a good 2” thick steak!

This place is awesome! My husband and I went in for the first time on Sunday. We had just got back that morning from a red eye flight and we were tired and hungry after we had slept most of the day. The food was delicious, and the quality of the food is worth the price in my opinion. Some items might be a little pricey compared to the long time restaurants in Yadkin county, however the quality and atmosphere work with the price and we gotta move with the time. We don’t still live in 1995. Ignore the negative reviews and just be patient. Give these guys a chance. Anytime a place is new it takes time to get into a groove. I worked just under 20 years in the restaurant business and I feel this place is doing great. A huge step up in the right direction for Yadkinville. Keep up the great work!!

Our first visit was wonderful. Big family gathering so we sampled a lot of food. Pizza and burgers are the best. Lots of food on the plate.

I cannot believe this is in Yadkinville, place is super nice. Food, service and vibes are all excellent. Buffalo Pizza, fried pickles and wings were amazing. So happy we have this in town!

I get so tired of looking at reviews that expect a bar to be a fast food restaurant. Go to a bar when you're not in a hurry and have a good time! If you're in a hurry go through the drive through at McDonald's! This is an awesome place for the area. They're new and expect to be here for the long run. We look forward to seeing it grow into the expectations!

A well designed place with amazing bar counter; long working high table with bar stools; many wonderful booths and plenty of tables. Staff are efficient and food is delicious. Interiors of the place is made keeping in mind the heritage of Yadkin county. Don’t miss the restored John Deer tractor and scene of microbrewery! Go support local business; they are amazing and much awaited change for Yadkin county. Neat and clean; we enjoyed our visit

What a great place to join friends for dinner and some drinks. Staff is friendly and attentive, food was excellent, served hot and reasonably priced. Atmosphere and decor is really nice use of an old building. Have large bar and nice seating. Would highly recommend for a casual evening out. Will definitely return.
